Just 6 years ago Fukushima and surrounding areas were devastated by an earthquake. The areas affected are slowly recovering but they still need help.
Members of the Saint Maur Irish Dance Club proudly marched in the Motomachi St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 12th and the Tokyo St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 19th.

Five Saint Maur International School scientists attended the Yokohama Science Frontier Forum for International Research in Science and Technology, where they presented the findings collected during their Individual Investigations.
Saint Maur will be hosting the Kanto MS Girls Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, November 5. There will be total of 7 schools participating in the tournament and Saint Maur plays Nishimachi in the first round at 10:15am. There will be food and drinks sold throughout the day. Please come and support our team!
On Thursday November 3rd, Saint Maur will be running their annual Sports Day for Elementary, Middle and High School. The Elementary Sports Day will run from 8am -12 noon, where students will be dismissed from Futaba field. The events will be at the recreation/tennis court area, gym and Futaba field. Middle School Sports Day will run from 1pm - 3:30pm, with all events at Futaba field. The High School will be running their Sports Day all day, starting at Peverly place and then moving to the gym at 11:30am.
Come and watch two short plays performed by the Middle School Drama Club at 6 pm on Friday, March 24th in the Auditorium. Refreshments will be available for purchase courtesy of the PSG. Admission is free!

Many thanks to all those who supported the Ikebana Exhibition in front of our school library to celebrate Japanese Culture Day today!
Approximately 20 ikebana arrangements will be on display for one week from noon on Wednesday, March 8th in support of events taking place to celebrate Japanese Culture Day on March 10th at Saint Maur. Parents studying ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) under Kamata-sensei as part of our Adult Enrichment Program will create beautiful floral arrangements which will be on display in front of the school library.
Saturday, February 18th, 7pm-12am. No fancy clothes, wear something casual.
Don’t dance, drink champagne.
