On Monday 21 May, 30 brave Seniors and 2 scared teachers embarked upon the adventure of a lifetime called: the Senior Trip.  On the menu of the three days: rafting, canyoning, hiking, singing, stargazing, a bonfire and a good deal of relaxing by the river. On Friday 18 May, Saint Maur's glitterati gathered at Iseyama Hills's Grand Venezia ballroom, in Yokohama, for the annual Junior and Senior Prom. This was the Seniors' first celebratory event in the run-up to their graduation on Saturday 2 May. In 1998, Ben Lecomte swam across the Atlantic Ocean in support of cancer research as a tribute to his father. Despite being followed by a shark for five days, being stung by jellyfish, and being completely exhausted, Ben successfully completed the swim in 73 days. This time, The Longest Swim will be the 1st attempt to swim across the Pacific Ocean. Monday April 23rd was sure to become an exciting day for twenty-two Montessori and Elementary School students who performed in the 3rd Ballet Club Mini-Spring Recital in the Auditorium.  During lunch, the Montessori classroom was transformed to a hair salon where the little ballet performers had their chignon hairstyle done.  Just before Period 6 ended, the Elementary School students headed to the Auditorium Dressing Room and joined the Montessori’s transformation to graceful and stylish ballet... Without a cloud in the sky a constant stream of Saint Maur families, alumni, friends and guests spent a leisurely and enjoyable day on campus shopping, listening to the Jazz bands and satisfying their taste buds with a wide variety of international foods and beverages on offer.
