Those students who are new since October 6th and those who had specific problems with their previous photos (in October) should be prepared to have their Photo taken on January 17th, Wednesday, The schedule is available here. Christmas is the time of year when many of you will receive letters and Christmas cards. Please do not discard the stamps on the envelopes as we collect them for a charity the school supports.

This year, the Saint Maur robotics club again participated in the VEX tournament at ASIJ. This year we entered two teams with different robots.
The game itself consisted of stacking cones on top of mobile goals and stationary goals; the mobile goals could be moved into various zones for bonus points. There is also an autonomous period at the start of every game where the robot runs off its programming without any user control.

Last November 4th, 2017, our Grade 6 students, Rin and Lea competed in the Mainland European and Asian Irish Dancing Championships 2017 in Gdynia, Poland. This event hosted the best dancers from Europe and Asia and we are proud that two of our students represented Japan. Rin placed 4th in the Under 11 Girls group and Lea, 8th in the Under 12 Girls group.

The Christmas Bazaar, which is the Parent Support Group's main fundraiser of the year, will be held on Sunday, November 19, from 10:00 to 16:00. We will have variety of international foods, a thrift shop, kids games, face painting, a raffle, performances, music, vendors, storytelling, Santa's grotto, etc. This is a wonderful time to socialize with our community as well as get involved.
