Elementary Students Celebrate World Book Day!
At our Saint Maur, we know the importance of being a Lifelong Learner, and we are especially passionate about developing Lifelong READERS. On April 23rd, our hallways were transformed into a living library as the Elementary School celebrated World Book Day.
Students and teachers were dressed as their favorite storybook characters, from classic heroes to modern-day adventurers, bringing many wonderful stories to life. The campus welcomed characters like Harry Potter, The Mad Hatter, Greg Heffley (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), The Cat in the Hat, Willy Wonka, and many more. Elementary School teachers also curated a special digital storybook to share their personal reflections on the stories that shaped their own childhoods. To wrap up the festivities, students visited the library to cast their votes for their ultimate favorite read.

By encouraging reading for pleasure, we aren’t just teaching literacy; we are guiding our students to infinite worlds and a curiosity that will last a lifetime.
