School Wide

  • Teacher for Elementary & Middle School Student Learning Support/Middle School Organizational Skills

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Learning Support Teacher, who is able to identify and assess individual learning needs, and support Elementary and Middle School students with their learning. This requires working with students individually, in small groups, or in the larger classroom context. Working experience in preparing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for students and progress reports is also a necessary part of this position.

You would be working in collaboration with our Learning Support Coordinator, and our Student Support team, as well as working alongside our teachers and in partnership with our families.

This position also entails teaching our Organizational Skills course to Grade 6 & 7 students. This course provides guidance and practical tools for Middle School students to organize themselves to make the most of their schooling experience.

Qualifications & Experience

  • be qualified and hold a teaching credential in the subject(s) they are applying for
  • have had a minimum of three or more years of full-time teaching experience within a recognized English-medium educational system, preferably in a multi-cultural setting
  • be able to effectively utilize technology within the classroom
  • be able to cope with students of mixed abilities some for whom English is not a first language
