Elementary School

Maker Space Teacher (Elementary School Grades 1-5)

Part-time Maker Space Teacher is required to teach modules of design work to Elementary School students. The teacher is to be experienced in working in a maker culture, able to teach creative hands-on skills, giving opportunity to our students to be innovative as they design, tinker, fix, build, test, modify, and be solution-focused, all within a safety-controlled environment.

Elementary School Teacher - (Starting late October 2024 - through to mid-June 2025)

This is an opportunity to join our dynamic Elementary School teaching team. We invite applications from those who are experienced in teaching at the Gr 1-3 Elementary School grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching credentials;

  • Experience with inquiry-based curricula such as IPC/PYP;

  • Preferred knowledge of 'Math in Focus' and 'Reader's and Writer's Workshop'.

The school, which is co-educational, caters to students from age 2 ½ through high school from multi-cultural, and diverse faith & language backgrounds. Qualifications & Experience

  • be qualified and hold a teaching credential in the subject(s) they are applying for
  • have had a minimum of three or more years of full-time teaching experience within a recognized English-medium educational system, preferably in a multi-cultural setting
  • be able to effectively utilize technology within the classroom
  • be able to cope with students of mixed abilities some for whom English is not a first language
