Celebrate with us as we recount the memorable evening of October 28th, when our school hosted a spectacular Gala Dinner at the prestigious Westin Hotel in Yokohama. The event brought together approximately 120 esteemed guests, including Saint Maur alumni, parents, staff and teachers, for a wonderful evening of music, dining and conversation. 

Kicking off this glamorous event, we were honored to welcome our distinguished VIPs to the stage, where they shared insightful remarks. Ms. Kagawa, Director General of the International Affairs, Culture, and Tourism Bureau for the Kanagawa Prefectural Government, highlighted the vibrant international community within our Kanagawa Prefecture. The spotlight then turned to VIP Alex Ramirez, recently inducted into the Hall of Fame for his exceptional achievements in baseball. Mr. Ramirez, also known as Ramichan, delivered impactful words, extending warm greetings to all our esteemed guests.

The evening continued with a captivating performance by our High School Jazz Combo, skillfully directed by our Head of Music, Mr. Jonathan Doherty. The students enchanted the audience with timeless jazz classics, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present. Following the performance, the buffet opened, providing an opportunity for guests to mingle and enjoy a delightful culinary experience. The evening reached its peak as we announced the lucky winners of our raffle, who walked away with fabulous prizes generously sponsored by the Westin Hotel Yokohama.

A special thank you goes out to our skillful MC, Mr. Glenn Scoggins, a honorary member of our school community who has been working at Saint Maur International School for many years. The festivities continued with a second live performance by the Honor Jazz Combo, featuring an upbeat party mix that had the dance floor bustling with energy.
