About the workshop
Ozu Washi is a cultural center for carrying forward the tradition of "Washi" papermaking. Japanese Washi paper is distinguished by three features: "Strength", "Tenderness", and "Warmth".
Draw patterns freely on an A4 washi paper using the materials in the studio: colored washi paper, Yuzen washi (patterned paper), Tengu-joshi (thin paper), pressed flowers, colored Kozo fibers, and gold/silver leaves. You can also combine different colored washi and/or colored Kozo fibers. You are also welcome to bring in your own materials or motifs.
The workshop includes:
- Make your own Washi paper
- Washi paper shopping
- Visiting the Washi museum
