The Christmas Bazaar, which is the Parent Support Group's main fundraiser of the year, will be held on Sunday, November 19,  from 10:00 to 16:00. We will have variety of international foods, a thrift shop, kids games, face painting, a raffle, performances, music, vendors, storytelling, Santa's grotto, etc. This is a wonderful time to socialize with our community as well as get involved. Sports Day is one of the yearly opportunities for the whole school to come together. The 2017 edition took place last Friday and we celebrated growth through physical activity. Students played a range of sports and competed between grade levels within elementary, middle, and high school. It was an opportunity to develop team work, fair play, and a taste for reaching and overcoming one's own limits. Karen's Report: From the moment I set foot into the YSFH campus, I was in awe of the facility and the number of labs they had. Ayane, who was my guide for the three days warmed me with open arms, and so did everyone else. She told me about the school, and showed me around the campus, explaining what kind of experiments were done at each lab. Apprehensions were almost as unusually high as the 29-degree temperatures of the sparkling October day on the Saint Maur team, as the day of the annual Brain Bowl competition dawned. The father of two of our distinguished past students will be awarded a very prestigious award by the Irish President on the 30th November. Saint Maur International School welcomed six students from Yokohama Science Frontier high School (YSFH) to take part in the practical phase of the IB Group 4 (Science/IT) project, held at the Saint Maur Science Centre on 20th October 2017. Grade 12 students formed inter-disciplinary Science groups and investigated a topic of their choice on the theme of ‘uncertainty’.
